At DMT, monitoring involves the continuous recording, analysis and assessment of the condition, stresses and changes affecting plant, machinery, buildings and geotechnical structures. Using smart sensor technology, digital platforms and engineering expertise, we lay the foundations for safe, efficient and sustainable decision-making.

We develop and implement end-to-end monitoring solutions: from requirements analysis and the monitoring concept, through the selection and integration of sensor technology, to data analysis, visualisation and the assessment of events. In doing so, we combine physical measurement data with digital analysis methods and create genuine added value for our customers.
Digitalisation opens up new opportunities to make physical processes transparent and measurable. The Internet of Things (IoT) provides the technological basis for this. However, the key lies in the ability to translate data into sound decisions.
This is precisely where DMT comes in.
We combine engineering expertise, sensor technology and digitalisation to create integrated monitoring solutions. Our systems record conditions and changes in real time, analyse deviations and provide the basis for recommendations for action.
From motion detection in a slope stabilisation system, through the structured analysis of geotechnical data, to the monitoring of complex industrial plants: we link real-world processes with digital information systems.
In Plant Reliability Enablement (PRE), for example, plant knowledge, maintenance processes and condition monitoring are integrated within a digital working environment. This makes maintenance decisions more efficient, transparent and predictable.
Monitoring at DMT comprises:
1. Analysis of the initial situation
2. Development of the monitoring concept
3. Selection and integration of suitable sensors
4. Implementation of hardware and software
5. Data analysis and evaluation
6. Recommendations for action and support
Our systems are characterised by a high degree of flexibility and scalability. The hardware and software are designed to be open and can be seamlessly integrated into existing customer environments.
Our solutions help to:
For us, ‘Monitoring everything’ means providing the right solution for every monitoring task: data-driven, scalable and practical.
Discover, through a selection of projects, how DMT’s monitoring solutions create transparency, minimise risks and enable informed decision-making:
Monitoring at DMT involves the continuous recording, analysis and assessment of the condition, stresses and changes affecting plant, buildings and geotechnical structures. The aim is to identify risks at an early stage and enable well-informed decisions to be made.
These solutions are used in sectors including industry, energy, wind power, oil and gas, infrastructure, mining, construction and geotechnical engineering.
Condition monitoring refers to the continuous monitoring of the technical condition of plant and machinery. This enables faults to be detected at an early stage and maintenance measures to be optimised.
Geomonitoring focuses on ground movements, structures and geotechnical processes. Condition monitoring, on the other hand, monitors the condition of technical installations and machinery.
IoT-based monitoring systems enable real-time monitoring of conditions, automated alerts, centralised data analysis and better planning of maintenance and repair work.
