The Story of DMT Kai Batla

Founded in 2008, Kai Batla Minerals Industry Consultants took its name from the Sesotho expression meaning “I seek” or “I search”, reflecting our roots in mineral exploration and discovery. The company grew from a small, agile South African consultancy into a respected multidisciplinary mining specialist. In 2014 we joined DMT GROUP, forming DMT Kai Batla and connecting the business to our extensive international network of expertise and resources. We serve clients across Africa and worldwide.
