Simulation, consultancy and planning for sustainable water management

Hydrology provides the basis for decision-making in water management, flood protection and infrastructure and environmental projects.
Extreme weather events such as floods, heavy rainfall and periods of drought are posing increasing challenges to society, industry and public infrastructure. Using hydrological and hydraulic models, we analyse complex processes within catchment areas and in water bodies. In doing so, we provide the basis for decision-making to ensure safe, cost-effective and sustainable planning.
Changes to rivers, coastal waters or water management facilities affect flows, water levels and the transport of sediments, substances and heat. These interactions are often complex and require specialist expertise as well as modern simulation methods. Through the targeted use of digital models, we assess impacts at an early stage, identify risks and develop practical solutions for a water infrastructure that is resilient in the long term.
Our hydrological studies support public sector clients, infrastructure operators and businesses in adapting to climate change, protecting people and property, and managing water resources sustainably.
