The DMT CoreScan UV produces images of drill cores up to 1.05 metres in length, housed in core boxes measuring 1.15 x 0.64 metres, using both UV and white light. The specially designed lighting and imaging system guarantees the highest image quality and minimises unwanted scattered radiation in cases of weak fluorescence.
The image data can be imported into the CoreBase database for further processing. The DMT CoreScan UV can be used on its own or in combination with a CoreScan3 and can be controlled from a single laptop. Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, the device is suitable for mobile use. At the same time, it is designed for extremely harsh working conditions and is very user-friendly.
The image data can be imported into the CoreBase database for further processing.
