Essen, 24 March 2025 – Under the motto “Shaping the Future with Technology”, the Hannover Messe will provide a platform for technological innovations from 31 March to 4 April 2025. Here, the TÜV NORD GROUP will demonstrate, in line with its guiding principle “We Create Trust in Technology”, how trust and innovation go hand in hand. At the TÜV NORD GROUP stand, DMT – as part of the Energy & Resources business unit – will show how AI ensures safety and trust in maintenance.

The highlight at the stand is DMT RideGuard, an AI-powered real-time monitoring system that sustainably optimises the safety and maintenance of rides in amusement parks.
Using sophisticated sensor technology and AI algorithms, the system provides comprehensive monitoring, enabling anomalies and irregularities in the ride’s behaviour to be detected at an early stage and operators to be notified automatically.
Jens Schweitzer, Head of Geoinstruments & Industrial Monitoring Solutions at DMT, explains: “DMT RideGuard is a milestone in amusement park safety and maintenance. The system enables real-time monitoring that not only meets the high safety standards but actually improves them further. For amusement park operators, this also means a reduction in unplanned ride downtime and, consequently, maximum efficiency.”
DMT will demonstrate exactly how DMT RideGuard captures data in real time at its stand using a model looping ride. This will show, on a small scale, how the data is collected and then displayed live on a clear dashboard.
“Our monitoring services, such as DMT RideGuard, are prime examples of how we use innovative technologies to enhance safety and efficiency whilst simultaneously strengthening confidence in the technology that surrounds us in our everyday lives. We look forward to presenting our solutions to an international audience of industry professionals in Hanover and to deepening the dialogue on the technology of the future,” emphasises Dr Maik Tiedemann, DMT Managing Director and CEO of the TÜV NORD GROUP Business Unit Energy & Resources.

DMT demonstrates that comprehensive safety and monitoring play a major role not only in the field of amusement rides with its latest monitoring services for consolidating various technical data, such as DMT PlantGuard. The system brings together status information from a wide variety of monitoring systems in one central location and presents it clearly at a glance. Here, too, the focus is on the early detection of anomalies and the minimisation of unplanned downtime in industrial plants, which automatically leads to increased operational safety.
