The device represents the latest generation of seismographs. Ultra-compact, 160 g single-channel remote units, connected via a lightweight, two-core cable, form a seismic acquisition system whose flexibility, combined with real-time data transmission is unrivalled worldwide. The remote units are connected via optimised SUMMIT SNAP-ON technology to the lightweight, two-core SUMMIT cable, which simplifies deployment in difficult terrain.
The spacing between receivers can be easily varied from less than one metre up to several metres. The modular and scalable system design guarantees high productivity for both smaller field deployments with fewer than 50 channels and large deployments with over 2,000 channels.

The SUMMIT X One combines the flexibility of a wireless system with all the benefits of reliable online data access via a wired system. The device transfers data reliably, quickly and instantly. Data quality can therefore be monitored simultaneously whilst measurements are being taken. The SUMMIT X One is suitable for exploration in the mining and geothermal sectors. It is also used to investigate ground conditions, assess ground stability, analyse environmental factors and locate aquifers.
