The system is suitable for both mobile and stationary monitoring. This enables you to respond to tremors at an early stage and adjust your project conditions accordingly. You’ll avoid downtime and subsequent costs. As soon as a tremor exceeds a certain threshold, sensitive equipment, such as computer servers, can be switched off or put into ‘park mode’ to protect it from damage. Typical applications of the system include infrastructure projects, the exploration and monitoring of gas fields and in mining, the monitoring of boreholes for geothermal projects, and during blasting operations.

Vibration measurements are carried out in accordance with various national standards, as well as for applications in microseismic monitoring. The system offers comprehensive networking options for data transfer, remote access and alarm notifications. In addition, cost-effective IoT-based sensors for vibration monitoring and for dense network instrumentation are available as an integrated part of the DMT SAFEGUARD database.
