We are the leaders in the engineering division of the TÜV NORD GROUP, have numerous officially recognised specialist centres and accredited testing laboratories, and employ over 100 recognised experts in this division alone. We are involved in more than 40 funded innovation projects, some of which are international, and are working on the digitalisation of existing and new business models, services and products for ourselves and our clients. We act responsibly, sustainably and ethically – without exception and for the benefit of our clients. We help to understand the world and create new value. We call this ENGINEERING PERFORMANCE.
DMT’s roots date back to 1737, when the first organisation dedicated to improving mining safety in Germany was founded. Today, our focus is on technology and digitalisation; therefore, our objectives are to build on our long-standing technical and scientific expertise and to continuously improve quality. Thanks to our expertise in the fields of exploration, engineering, consultancy and geotechnical engineering, we are able to deliver expert solutions to complex problems from a single source.
We explore the Earth, survey its surface and peer into its very core. We design industrial plants and ensure their operational reliability, efficiency and safety. We advise energy companies and storage operators, develop post-mining land-use plans, design infrastructure projects, and plan and manage large-scale property developments. We develop and build measurement systems for use across a wide range of industries and manufacture inspection and testing products. And, of course, we maintain a quality management system in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2008 and an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001.

DMT GROUP has 11 officially recognised specialist centres and accredited measurement centres. In addition, DMT employs around 100 recognised experts.
Certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1996, to DIN EN ISO 14001 since 2013 and to DIN ISO 45001 since 2018. Certification by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS).
