DMT and Mobaro set new standards for maintenance and monitoring of amusement park rides with seamless integration of their technologies

Essen, 8 September 2025 - DMT, a TÜV NORD GROUP company, and the Danish software company Mobaro are working together to enable amusement parks to operate faster, safer and smarter in the maintenance of their rides. The AI-supported monitoring system DMT RideGuard monitors the technical condition of rides in real time and will now be seamlessly integrated into Mobaro's leading platform for digital maintenance and inspection management of amusement parks. This means that safety-relevant operating data from rides can be merged with maintenance and inspection processes in one platform, saving time and resources.

Amusement parks are faced with the challenge of efficiently ensuring the safety and availability of their rides while at the same time increasing their complexity. This poses challenges for operators, especially during ongoing operations. With RideGuard, DMT has created a practical solution for the technical monitoring of rides that is already being used successfully in several amusement parks. Based on state-of-the-art IoT sensor technology, the system analyses the ride characteristics of the ride in real time. Thanks to the intelligent evaluation of the collected data by a specially trained
AI, DMT RideGuard reacts to any anomalies and informs the operator immediately.

By linking the two systems, operators can not only recognise deviations immediately, but also document and control the corresponding measures directly in the same system - a decisive step towards greater safety and efficiency.

The first user of the new complete solution is Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Rövershagen. Previously, the park relied on both systems independently of each other. Now DMT RideGuard will be made available via the Mobaro software without any further effort.

The integrated solution will be presented by DMT at the TÜV NORD GROUP booth and the Mobaro stand at IAAPA Expo Europe 2025 in Barcelona for the first time.
