From aerospace to geotechnics

Dr Maik Tiedemann


Dr-Ing. Maik Tiedemann (CEO) joined DMT's management board on January 1, 2018. He studied aerospace engineering in Braunschweig and Virginia, received his doctorate from Darmstadt Technical University and also studied economics at Hagen University.

After several professional positions, such as Head of Turbine Technology at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), he most recently worked as Head of Business Unit at MAN Diesel & Turbo.

As Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for DMT as a whole and works in particular on the further development of engineering.

Dipl.-Ing. Jens-Peter Lux was appointed to the management board of the DMT Group in January 2018. He completed his vocational training as a deep drilling technician and studied geotechnics and mining at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

Jens-Peter Lux joined DMT in 2002 and successfully held various management positions. As Managing Director, he is responsible for operations in the fields of infrastructure, mining, exploration, energy and geoservices as well as human resources within the DMT Group.

Jens-Peter Lux is also an honorary member of various committees and associations.

Engineering & Consulting

We call this "Engineering Performance": DMT offers engineering services from a single source - both in theory and in practice. In our focus markets of plant construction and process engineering, infrastructure and raw materials, we provide our customers with complete know-how at all stages of the process, from analysis through strategic consulting and planning to practical implementation, thus achieving sustainable added value for our customers.

We use the opportunities of digitization to improve processes for our customers, to develop innovative products, and to develop new business models. In addition, we supplement and secure our expertise through sustainable personnel management as well as permanent scrutiny and calibration of our current business models in the various aspects of our activities.

Furthermore, we are partners in international research and development and thus contribute to progress in engineering. For us, professionalism and performance are not lip service, but the core competence of each individual employee, no matter in which function.
