Making a Positive Impact together: DMT supports TÜV NORD Social Day

With commitment and energy, a team of 11 colleagues from different business units of the TÜV NORD family helped brighten up a kindergarten in Essen, Germany, last week for our first Social Day. Among the passionate volunteers were DMT’s Natalie Morris, Dr. Nele Pollmann, Melanie Ortkemper and Christine Rams, who saw it not only as an opportunity to do something good for the community, but also a great way to make and strengthen connections within the company and grow together as a team.

The Social Day is an initiative of TÜV NORD GROUP’s MINDSET program, designed to bring our core values to life and further enrich our corporate culture under the mantra "Participate. Shape. Experience." It encompasses six cultural fields: Leadership, Knowledge & Innovation, Communication, Diversity & Equal Opportunities, Sustainability, and Health & Wellbeing. The program supports projects that align with MINDSET criteria and aim to create solutions that benefit as many colleagues as possible, including fostering social engagement.

With generous financial support from TÜV NORD GROUP, we were not only able to purchase the necessary materials to repaint the craft room and playroom at the kindergarten but also provide additional equipment like painting and lab coats for the children, a microscope, posters, and more.

Following the tremendous success of this event, the MINDSET team is enthusiastic about making TÜV NORD "Social Days" a regular occurrence, allowing us to continue making a meaningful impact in our communities.
